Women’s Care Center opened in Columbus in 2008 on Broad Street in a historic house in the downtown district. A second center was added on Main Street immediately next door to the Planned Parenthood abortion clinic. Last year, the centers served 2,172 women who made 6,727 visits. This is an average of 27 women every day. The beautiful centers, loving counselors and helpful programs are so encouraging to pregnant women. 97% of women who come to the centers for counseling and an ultrasound choose life for their babies. All center programs are funded by private donations.

AjaAja’s Story

Aja and her mother were on their way to the Founder’s abortion clinic, when they came to our center by mistake. Aja was beautiful, a former model, who was trying to get her new career on track. She told our counselor that the baby’s father was no longer in the picture and she just didn’t see how she could have a baby. However, after talking with our counselor and seeing an ultrasound, Aja chose life for her precious little girl (shown). Aja is starting a new career as a fire fighter and has become a great mother. Aja participated in parenting classes and earned a crib and other baby items through the Crib Club.

“The first step in evangelization is recognizing the humanity of the human person. This is what Women’s Care Center does. The center loves and respects the woman facing an unplanned pregnancy and recognizes her humanity.”
