A Better Way to Help Moms and Babies The Women’s Care Center is the largest most successful pregnancy resource center in the United States, serving more women in more locations than any other. The center was formed in 1984 by a professor from the University of Notre Dame who wanted to find a better way to help pregnant women choose life for their babies. Taking a uniquely positive, practical, and proactive approach to the life issue, the Care Center now serves over 22,000 women annually who will make over 90,000 visits to one of our 19 locations in Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin. Unlike many pregnancy centers, Women’s Care Center helps women before, during and after pregnancy. We put significant emphasis on helping women have healthy babies and creating self-supporting families. With a practical approach to education, young parents learn about adoption, parenting skills, self-sufficiency, abstinence and the importance of reading and nurturing their little ones. And all programs are incentive-based, so that parents do not receive hand-outs, but rather earn cribs, car seats, diapers and baby items by participating in education. The bottom line is the Women’s Care Center model works. Thousands of babies are born each year to our clients and families are made whole. But we have much work to do and we ask for your support!
